How do I wash my Grip Socks?

One of the most frequently asked questions by our customers is: how should I wash my grip socks?

Gravity socks are meant to be worn both during training sessions and matches. The quality of these grip socks allows for better recovery and better performance. To have them last longer and be in good shape it is very important to know how to take care of them.

First of all, we recommend hand washing them in cold water.  If hand washing isn't an option for you, then a short, light cycle in cold water in your washing machine should be applied. Please make sure that the water temperature doesn't exceed 30°C or 86°F to ensure more durability.

To remove even the toughest stains, before washing them they can be treated with a fabric softener or stain remover. Please do not use bleach since it could severely damage the fabric. Once washed, hang dry them.

And if you’re thinking about the silicone pads, as they are injected directly onto the fabric, they will never get unstuck allowing the non slip system to last longer.

So, in summary, how to care for your Gravity grip socks?

    • Turn socks inside out
    • Handwashing with cold water is preferred. However, if machine washed choose a light cycle and cold water
    • Put them into a laundry bag inside the washing machine.
    • Don’t use excessive detergent
    • Air dry your socks and avoid putting them in the dryer on low heat.
    • Do not bleach or iron.

Follow our care instructions and your Gravity grip socks will last longer than you can imagine!
